class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adrian had spent years reading rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Years organizing events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Years watching people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yet this woman confused him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes she seemed shy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other times she would suddenly tease someone and have the whole table laughing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes she sat across the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other times she appeared beside him as if it were the most natural thing in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He couldn&#8217;t figure out the pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that bothered him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Virgos liked patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each absence bothered him more than it should have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each return brought relief he never admitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
